The role

Run client platforms end-to-end

You'll join a small, senior team as the hands-on engineer behind several mid-size companies' cloud platforms. You'll design, automate, harden, and operate their AWS environments — and be trusted to keep them quietly reliable.

This is deep, varied infrastructure work: one week is a migration, the next is a cost audit, the next is hardening a Kubernetes cluster before a launch. You'll work directly with client engineering teams, with no layers in between.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate AWS environments for multiple client platforms

Write infrastructure-as-code by default — Terraform for everything that lasts

Provision, harden, and operate Kubernetes (EKS) clusters in production

Build CI/CD pipelines that ship safely, with rollbacks you can trust

Set up monitoring, alerting, and dashboards; share a calm, well-run on-call rotation

Drive cost optimization and right-sizing across client accounts

Move workloads — on-premises to cloud, or between clouds — with minimal disruption

What we're looking for

Requirements

3+ years of hands-on, production-level DevOps or cloud engineering experience

Deep working knowledge of AWS (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, VPC & networking, IAM) — other clouds (Azure, GCP) a plus

Strong Kubernetes experience — you've run production clusters, not just tutorials

Terraform fluency — infrastructure as code by default, not as an afterthought

Solid CI/CD understanding (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins)

Scripting in Python or Bash; comfortable living in a terminal

Calm, clear communication — you'll work directly with client teams

Nice to have

Bonus points

AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) or CKA

Monitoring stacks in production — Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch

Incident response and root-cause analysis experience

Consulting or managed-services background — you've owned client relationships
